PART - II
4. PHOTOGRAPHY
Everybody seems to own a digital camera or a camera-mobile phone these days. But, how many people tend to take photography as a creative activity.
Encourage your children to put their creative vision to test through digital photography. The best advantage of digital photography is that you don’t have to pay for the development of film first to see the results.
Share your creative passions with your children. Take lots of shots of everything indoor, outdoor, in daylight or at night, still life, portraits, family pictures or nature.
Tell your children just to aim the camera and do click click click.
5. MAKE PAPER PLANES
Ridiculous? Come on. I’ve just typed “Paper planes” in google search and can you guess the number of results I have got? 3,620,000. And still you think it is ridiculous.
I know a friend who is 60+ and still enjoys making and flying paper planes with his grand children. And tell you what, I taught him making paper planes about 15 years ago. If you are still laughing at the idea, read the following news item.
Yesterday, engineer Takuo Toda, president of the Japan origami aeroplane association, set a world flight recordfor a traditional-origami paper plane of 26.1 seconds. He's had longer flights, but they involved the use of scissors, tape, or other non-traditional materials. [via Neatorama]

6. BLOGGING
This activity is for children above 10. Do you know the amazing 11 year old kid who is acclaimed as the youngest blogger of the world? Check his blog here : http://www.glosonblog.com/
Blogging is a very healthy activity if taken with a purpose. Blogging will also polish your children's writing skills. The easiest way to create a blog with no know-how is to go to http://www.blogger.com to begin with.
Just create a new Gmail account on http://www.gmail.com, access your account, do not sign out. Then go to http://www.blogger.com. You would find your gmail id there as user name. Type in the password of your gmail account and follow the instructions.
I could explain here everything but I love you to use your own brains to learn something through the fun of blogging. Still if you feel it difficult to create a blog, write to me on adamxaad@gmail.com.
There is no limit to creating blogs on blogger dot com but you should start with one only and start writing whatever you deem appropriate to share with the world.
I know people who got rid of suicidal depression through blogging. Want to read the story? Go to http://thinksucceeded.blogspot.com and get the inspiration.
If there is difficulty in choosing a subject to write about, visit the following link for new ideas : http://oneminutewriter.blogspot.com.
The ideas I have mentioned above do not require you to hold a degree on the subjects. And then there is no limit to creativity. You just need to do a little brainstorming together.
Try any of these activities or all and have good time with your children in this summer.
