Do it before Summer Vacation is over

PART - I

A fortnight of summer vacation is already over. What have you planned for your children’s time spending besides visits to relatives and tours to hill-stations?  And by the way all the hill-stations are no more accessible for public now.

But all these activities are set rituals that you perform every year. I am talking about something different this summer that you might not have done before.

Saving your brain from a restless phase of thinking, I would hereby share with you some ideas to work on to kindle the fire of creativity of your children.

Here is a list of activities that you can participate in with your children in leisure time and enjoy.

1.     PAPER CRAFTING

Buy a book on paper craft along with necessary material from a stationery shop.  Choose the hour when everybody is free both mentally and physically.  No outing, no television, no computer games and no mobile chatting.

Think up a creative idea getting help from the book, draw shapes together and make something of interest to anyone;  something to place in the drawing room or for dining table or even for bedrooms.

Thank Lord there is no restriction on creative thinking and sky is the limit.

2.     MAKING SCRAP-BOOKS

Making scrap books is not just a hobby in the Western countries.  It is a home-based small business. You can learn a lot about scrap booking from internet. Following are the links that you may find useful in helping you create your own scrap books:

You will find a lot of information about other creative activities on these websites.  Just try.

3.     DRAWING & PAINING

Another creative activity of interest to all is drawing and/or painting.  Depending upon your flair and of your children, you can choose any medium like pencils, crayons, water colours, oils etc.
There may be a great artist hiding deep inside one of your children who needs to be freed from the shackles of silence and complacent thinking.

I am giving below useful links for your guidance and help:
